QCR Wins An Award At Royal Bath West Show 2023

Our team of Waste Experts recently exhibited at the Royal Bath & West Show to share our money-saving recycling expertise with the eco-conscious business owners in the Somerset area. The show showcases the wide variety of food producers, hospitality businesses, entertainment and agricultural businesses based in the West Country. QCR has a site based in Devon therefore we can apply our local knowledge of how businesses in the West Country can save money on their trade waste by using a QCR cardboard baler or another waste compactor from our range of recycling machines.

Visitors to our stand included a retail business who wanted to save money on cardboard recycling and a hospitality business who wanted to reduce the frequency of their recycling bin collections. We also took the opportunity to speak to a local cider producer who had recently rented one of our new glass crushing machines enabling them to grind glass into a sand-like material, slashing the cost of their bin collections and saving valuable space. It’s great for the environment that businesses in the South West rate sustainability so highly in their day-to-day business operations.

We displayed a number of recycling machines on our stand at the show. It was a beautiful few days weather-wise although we needn’t have worried because the majority of the QCR balers and waste compactor range can be located outside. Our team also took the opportunity to sample the award-winning food and drinks produced in the local area.

Whilst at the show, we were delighted to receive an award. We’ll be displaying our bronze award proudly at our Devon site to say thanks to our team for making it all happen! Next year we’ll be aiming for a gold award!
