QCR cheer Gloucestershires cricketers on to victory

15th Jul 2015

Great day at The College Lawns yesterday where Gloucestershire made short work of Hants' below par score of 116. A gutsy 40 from Geraint Jones (on his birthday) help set up the win and we were pleased to have the opportunity to wish Geraint all the very best for his new career when he retires at the end of this season.

Geraint (second from the right) was part of the 2005 Ashes winning team and will always be remembered for that stunning catch at Old Trafford to see off Ricky Ponting. For the record, his stats in that series, 229 runs at 25.44, 15 catches and 1 stumping. Good luck fella..
