2. What are the different methods of loading a horizontal baling machine?
You can load by hand, using a bin lifter, using a conveyor or using lifting machinery such as a telehandler or a forklift. When designing a waste management system with QCR Recycling Equipment, we provide you with a wide range of options to enable you to choose the most efficient solution for your waste type.
3. What else do I need to know?
Ground works and power supply are the responsibility of the customer, although we'll advise you throughout the process. You'll need a 3ph, 32amp supply. At the end of your hire agreement, you'll need to organise for the equipment to be returned back to us. However, if you decide you want to keep it, all our refurbished horizontal balers are available for sale with a 6 month machine warranty.
4. What types of waste can be compacted in a horizontal waste baler?
These balers are suitable for sites with high volumes of cardboard and plastic packaging, but many other recyclable waste types can also be compacted. It's important to highlight that different waste streams must be compacted separately to generate the maximum rebates for your waste this is because contaminated waste causes problems in the recycling process.
