Free Waste Compactor Trial

The free waste compactor trial service provided by QCR Recycling Equipment offers businesses an opportunity to put a recycling compactor to the test. The trial is organised following a free waste audit  which can be booked on a no-obligation basis. 

What are the benefits?

Testing a waste compactor enables you to experience firsthand how compaction can improve your waste handling processes and reduce disposal costs. We’ll deliver the compactor to your workplace and provide you with free in-person training to get you started. Many types of waste can be compacted safely including boxes, bottles, cans and bagged general waste.

Where can the compactor be installed?

The installation area must be free from debris and well lit before the trial can begin. In general, most machines can be installed either outside or inside.

Are there any postcode restrictions?

QCR have distribution centres in Gloucestershire, Devon and Derbyshire. We can deliver machines to most postcodes in the UK without issue. If your business is located on an island, or in the Scottish Highlands, we ask for a contribution towards our additional delivery costs.

Are there any costs involved?

There are no costs for trialling the majority of our machines. However if you wish to trial a Mill Size or Industrial EPS machine we’ll ask for a contribution towards the specialist delivery equipment needed to deliver it to your business. This cost will be fully refunded if you decide to hire or purchase the machine after the trial period has ended.

Is there any support available during the trial?

Throughout the trial you'll receive support from a dedicated QCR Account Manager who will be on hand to help you get the most from your compactor. You'll also be supplied with a detailed instruction manual, method statements and a link to a demonstration video.

What are the options after the trial?

At the end of the trial period we’ll present your business with a variety of hire or purchase options. We may also be able to offer you a deal on an ex-rental refurbished compactor supplied with a warranty. In those cases where a trial has not met expectations, we’ll collect it for free.
